Bellevue Family Addition

A thoughtful Bellevue remodel and addition that expands a family home to include a light-filled ADU while refreshing the interiors with warmth and modern functionality.

This Bellevue remodel reimagines a longtime family home through both expansion and complete interior transformation. The client sought to create a more functional, modern space while adding a home, including a new ADU and an expanded primary bedroom footprint within the main residence, allowing the home to better support multigenerational living.

Natural light became a central design driver. Several new skylights were introduced in the dining room, ADU, and primary bathroom, while modifications to the roofline made way for vaulted ceilings that enhance openness and volume throughout the home. These architectural moves not only improve functionality but also create a brighter, more uplifting living environment.

The refreshed interiors blend warmth and simplicity through white oak cabinetry, wood-look LVT flooring, and a refined mix of bronze and brass hardware. The result is a cohesive, welcoming home that balances contemporary updates with everyday comfort, offering both independence and connection for the family members who share it.
