Eyes On You, Old Location

Transforming the conventional doctor's office into a cheerful, welcoming space with its modern twist on old-fashioned aesthetics and natural light to enhance the customer experience.

Eyes On You is an optical shop located in the heart of the West Edge neighborhood in Downtown Seattle. The design for their first location pays homage to an old-fashion aesthetic, with a modern twist. Bright and warm colors were utilized throughout the space to break the traditional archetype and gloom of a doctor's office. Understanding the importance of good lighting when trying on glasses, the large existing windows were incorporated into the layout to brighten up the space with natural light.

The overall goal was to break the traditional understanding of a doctor's setting, and to make it more cheerful and welcoming. Whimsical details like wall art and a decorative dropped ceiling with bar seating contribute to the overall spirit of the shop.
