Shane Staley                                                                                                      Architect

Shane grew up near Chicago, where he attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. While in school, Shane took advantage of the opportunity to study abroad in Europe and Japan, where he gained an appreciation for modernism as well as traditional hand workmanship. After working for a small firm in Chicago, Shane went on to attend the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine. There, he learned to work with his hands and solid wood furniture building techniques. Shane eventually moved to Seattle, where he has accrued a variety of experiences, starting from his own furniture business, to working in several design firms around the city before landing at Atelier Drome.
