Magnuson Cafe and Brewery
Located in the old "Torpedo Shop" building within the historic Sand Point Naval Air Station, Maganuson Cafe and Brewery will bring a much-needed restaurant to the area along with a full working brewery. Materials used in the design like metal and wood are intended to blend with the original space. Inside the oversized original historic front doors, visitors are greeted by an angular front counter backed by a reclaimed Douglas fir wall. Here they can casually order food and drinks before then seeking out the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a meal or drinks with friends, family or just enjoy the view of beautiful Lake Washington.
Central to the design is the creation of a strong connection to the neighborhood and its surrounding landscape. The addition of an approximately 2,400 square foot deck to the front will provide a variety of seating for everyone from large gatherings to couples, including the enjoyment of a cold beer crafted right on site. With a family-friendly atmosphere, the café and brewery aim to bring a welcoming space to anyone visiting the park and to grab beer along with a view of Lake Washington.

Mixed Use Remodel
This project is an addition/alteration of an existing office/apartment building that is currently in the design process. The existing basement storage level is to remain, while the ground floor office will be expanded on three sides for additional office space. The upper level of apartments will be removed and replaced with an additional 2.5 levels of apartments equaling 28 units.
Nestled into a steeply sloping site among native vegetation in West Seattle, the new WestBridge consists of 14 large single-family homes that are nearing construction completion with STS Construction Services. The community responded to a great need in the area for family and multi-generational housing. With bedrooms on every level, the units allow for maximum flexibility including full accessible bedrooms on the ground floor. Designed with high-efficiency in mind, materials and details such as LED lighting and double pane windows seek to maximize the energy savings. With a lack of usable outdoor space due to the steep grades, the homes were designed to utilize every square inch and provide low-maintenance outdoor space for the families through a rooftop deck on the top of every unit.
