Working closely with the homeowner, who also acted as their own contractor, this master bathroom was entirely transformed into a new space while staying within the existing footprint. The previous bathroom was awkwardly laid out in a way that made the room feel cramped and did not function well as a master bath.
The new design completely reconfigured the space to take better advantage of the generous square footage a well as improve functionality. The unused tub and small corner shower were removed to create a larger, more appropriate and functional master shower as well as a larger vanity to accommodate a second sink. The existing window was replaced for an operable one for ventilation and the look and feel brought the space out of the ‘80’s to better align with the client’s modern aesthetic for the rest of the home.
