For the past few years, our office has been designing fun snowflake templates for the 12 days of Christmas. We try to capture iconic and sometimes infamous moments of the year in snowflake form. This is what we've come up with this year! If you want to cut out your own snowflakes, grab an X-acto knife and head over to our website where you can find all the patterns! Happy Holidays everyone!

kids table by Unknown

With the holidays right around the bend we’re thinking it’s time for the card table and folding chairs to get an upgrade: here is some furniture that makes us want to sit at the kids table this season:

Even the littlest guest can partake in the festivities in these beautifully designed high chairs.

Spanish children’s furniture maker Micuna’s Ovo highchair. Practical without sacrificing on design, the wood legs are made of sustainable beech and the white tray is dishwasher safe. And it doesn’t take a kids imagination to see that the packaging may be their favorite part of the deal

Finnish birch plywood Onni chair comes in festive colors and forgoes the tray for inclusion at the family table

Danish furniture maker Small Design’s “cirkel” table comes with four stools that can be tucked away when not in use or arranged to create a second smaller table.

Also by Small Design, the “cube” is a table and chair in one

And last but not least, reminiscent of the tolix stool but in mini, the Lemonade table & stool set by babyletto is stackable washable and works as a stool or side table as well.

Will your kids table resemble any of these? Let us know what you have planned for your holidays!

december art walk & end of the year open house by Unknown

In the blink of an eye, it seems a year has already passed since our move to the new office. And while there have been many perks of the new space (elbow room, two bathrooms, the intern gets her own desk!), one of our favorite parts has been getting to participate in Pioneer Square's First Thursday Art Walk.

We've hosted illustrators, photographers, and painters in the past but for December's Art Walk we're planning something special by featuring artwork created by our very own team! Yes, your very own Atelier Drome team will be showing off our artistic skills and talents during an evening that is sure to be nothing short of festive!

So please stop by our office on Thursday, December 3rd anytime from 5:00-8:00 pm for a night of culture, light refreshments, and lots of fun.

Worried about parking downtown? We'll have free parking vouchers for anyone that parks in participating parking garages!

In the spirit of the holidays, we will also be collecting nonperishable foods to donate to Northwest Harvest. Please consider bringing in any of the following:

  • Beef stew, chili and similar meals with low salt, sugar and saturated fats
  • Canned fruit, especially with low sugar (but not artificial sweeteners)
  • Canned fish or meat
  • Peanut butter (plastic jars are preferred)
  • Canned vegetables (low sodium)
  • Brown rice
  • Whole grain pastas
  • Tomato products and canned sauces
  • Shelf-stable milk
  • Infant and baby foods:
    • Baby formula
    • Jars of baby food
    • Powdered or canned milk
    • Infant cereal

See more of what Northwest Harvest needs, here.

Thank you so much in advance for your generosity and we greatly look forward to seeing you!
